Admin Assistant/Tax Firm Our client is looking for a friendly and personable individual to join their office team.  This position will primarily focus on providing essential support during tax season.  It will start out part time, about 20-30 hours per week, then transition to full time in January.  After tax season, hours may reduce to 35 hours per week.  Our client is looking for someone who will stay long-term.  This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity but may consider Direct Hire!  They need someone who is professional, great on the phone and personable to their clients.  Hours: Full and Part-TimePay: $17-$18/hour Admin Assistant Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and assist clients with inquiries
  • Manage client visits for tax return pickups
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations during peak periods
  • Update database using Access software
  • Print and organize file labels
  • Assist with billing and invoicing tasks
  • Additional clerical responsibilities as assigned, which may include basic payroll tax knowledge
 Admin Assistant Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility with schedule
  • Professional demeanor – dealing with tax and investment clients
  • Ability to handle very busy phones and in-person visits
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and MS Office
