Job Description
Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper Bring your accounting expertise to this Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper position with a leading metals company in Belvidere. The Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper will assist the Controller with a variety of accounting-related duties. The Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper position is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Lots of room for the Accounting Assistant/ Bookkeeper to gain more knowledge and take on additional duties. Hours: 8am to 5pm or 7:30am to 4:30pm, whichever works best for you!Pay: $20-$30/hour, depending on experience in accounting Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Inventory and cost accounting
- Month end closing management
- Support work/generating reports for Human Resources
- Previous accounting experience (At least 3-5 year's required)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Inventory experience helpful.
- QuickBooks and intermediate Excel knowledge needed; experience with Pivot tables in Excel preferred.
