Material Handler 1st Shift
Immediate need for a Material Handler/Floor Loads Associate at busy storage facility in Belvidere. This is all manual lifting, no forklift. Furst-to-Hire opportunity at an excellent company, with a lot of overtime.
Hours: 6am to 2pm, Mon-Fri, with OT, which may be asked the same day
Pay: $18/hour
Material Handler/Floor Loads Associate Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight, manually
- Move product to storage areas
- Stack and store merchandise
- Pick orders for shipment
- Check freight count for accuracy or damage
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Participate in physical inventories
- Label, sort, wrap, pack and repack floor loads
Material Handler/Floor Loads Associate Requirements:
- Warehouse experience a plus
- Able to work in cold conditions
- Excellent communication skills
