Revenue Cycle/Accounts Receivable Representative A long-established organization in Rockford is seeking a friendly Revenue Cycle Representative to join their supportive team. Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Mon-FriPay: $18/hour DOE Revenue Cycle Representative Responsibilities:
Check claim status and maintain knowledge of coding and modifiers
Bill public (Federal and State grants, SUPR, Medicare, Medicaid) and private revenue.
Manage collection activities for insurance and public claims.
Monitor accounts receivable ledger integrity.
Aim for a weekly productivity of 80 claims, identify adjustments, and post contractual adjustments.
Answer client calls, collect self-pay balances, and process payments.
Work on aged self-pay balances and recommend adjustments.
Provide excellent customer service, aiming for 80 account touches per week.
Post all cash receipts and enter denials for various entities.
Retrieve 835 payments and post deposit information in Greentree.
Requirements:
Demonstrate reliable attendance and commitment to excellence
Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and the public
Exhibit a pleasant and cooperative attitude
Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare claims processing, posting of healthcare 835s and EFTs, denial management, collections, or customer service.
