Job Description

As the Rehab Technician Customer Care Specialist, this position will train to assist both the Customer Care and Patient Care teams. In Patient Care the job supports the therapy team with beginning to end treatment tasks such as room and equipment care, clean up, laundry and guided exercises. In Customer Care, assist the Office Manager with daily office functions such as scheduling, phone calls, scanning and emails while providing quality patient services and efficient clinic function. Rehab Technician Customer Care Specialist Position Tasks:Assist therapy team with various tasks
  • Treatment room and gym cleanliness
  • Guided exercises
  • New Patient folder organization
  • Patient handout organization and copying
  • Compliance follow-through
Assist Office Manager
  • Incoming/Outgoing phone calls 
  • Schedule new referrals, existing patients, caller inquiries, follow up calls, etc
  • Check in/out patients
  • Collecting copays & other required patient payments
  • EFAX 
  • Scanning Patient Documentation
  • Insurance Verification
  • Patient Payment Posting Logs & Insurance Payment Posting Logs
  • Deposits
 Rehab Technician Customer Care Specialist Qualifications: 
  • Must be a team player with ability to multi-function positively and efficiently
  • Exercise enthusiast
  • Customer Service experience (healthcare field preferred – 2 yrs preferred)
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Multi-line phone experience
  • Appointment scheduling experience (A2C software a plus)
  • Check in/Check out experience
  • Maintain positive and pleasant behavior – especially while multi-tasking
  • Exhibits willingness to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Maintain confidentiality
