Local cheese maker in Shullsburg, WI is looking for an experienced Milk Intake Operator for their 1st shift. The Milk Intake Operator will work a rotating shift. This position is a key component of the food production process. The Milk Intake Operator will control, test, and communicate all milk and whey flow throughout the plant to support plant production activities.
Hours: 1st shift, Rotating hours
Pay: $19.06/hour or based on experience
Milk Intake Operator Responsibilities:
Control and communicate liquid flows with all plant departments and vendors as required
Obtain required samples and test following standard procedures
Maintain all plant equipment in a clean and sanitary condition
Support all audits and inspections
Milk Intake Operator Requirements:
Read gauges and thermometers
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Ability to visually screen color change test strips
Operate computer controlled equipment
Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Previous Intake Operator experience
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to climb stairs
