Admin Assistant/Tax Firm Our client is looking for a friendly and personable individual to join their office team. This assignment will last until the end of tax season, April 15, 2025. In this role, you will primarily focus on providing essential support to the office team. Hours may be flexible initially but will increase to full-time starting in January. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and possess excellent phone skills as well as strong customer service to clients. Hours: Part-Time to start; Full-Time as of 1/1/25 (Mon-Fri with some Saturdays)Pay: $17-$18/hour Admin Assistant Responsibilities
Answer phones and assist clients with inquiries
Manage client visits for tax return pickups
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations during peak periods
Update database using Access software
Print and organize file labels
Assist with billing and invoicing tasks
Additional clerical responsibilities as assigned, which may include basic payroll tax knowledge
Admin Assistant Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility with schedule
Professional demeanor – dealing with tax and investment clients
Ability to handle very busy phones and in-person visits
Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and MS Office
